Fire that killed man in Springdale from smoking in bed
SPRINGDALE, Ark. Authorities in Springdale say a fire that killed a 34-year-old man started because the victim was smoking in bed. Investigators say Jason Longtin died in the Saturday apartment fire.Fire officials say the blaze was confined to the mattress and an adjoining wall.
