Authorities on Monday formally charged Eleanor Leisa Adderley with firing several shots -- one into the mattress where her husband, Fort Lauderdale Police Chief Frank Adderley, was resting.
Special delivery for burn victim
One of Santa's helpers flew into Syracuse on Wednesday afternoon, bearing gifts for a Syracuse boy severely burned as an infant. Jesse Corless, now 4, was burned over more than 35 percent of his body when the mattress he was sleeping on Dec. 4, 2003, caught fire, according to newspaper reports.
