March 24 (Bloomberg) -- Dial-a-Mattress International Ltd., and its brand name-retailer 1-800-Mattress Corp., filed for bankruptcy after creditors last week tried to force the firm into court protection.

Pet cat saves family of four from fire
The cat clawed its sleeping owner's face after the man's mattress caught fire at a property in Cairns about 2am (AEST) today. The man then woke his family and alerted fire authorities.
