A late night fire sends one person to the hospital. Crews from Georgetown and Scott County were called to the River Chase Path Apartments just after 11 Saturday night after a woman called and said her mattress was on fire.
Fire crews are investigating what may have sparked an overnight fire at a north Lexington home. Investigators say it looks like the fire started on a mattress on the second floor of the home. Crews were able to put the fire out quickly, and the home suffered some smoke and water damage.
