NEWARK, N.J.----Mayor Cory A. Booker and Shifman Mattress Company CEO Michael Hammer cut the ribbon this morning to open a 24,000-square foot expansion of the company’s bedding factory at One Mott Street, which increases its factory space to 84,000 square feet in a state-of-the-art facility.
Last June, I purchased a mattress and box spring set from a local furniture store. The cost was $739.50. On Nov. 29, I called to have someone come out and check the mattress because of indentations.
