Man arrested following police chase
Police have arrested a Jackson man who they said was hiding in a basement under a mattress after he led the Jackson Police Department on a chase in a car and on foot Monday night.

Investigators say the 14-year-old was trying to find something under his mattress with a cigarette lighter when the bed caught fire.
